I have spent my entire life pursuing and enjoying the active lifestyle. In high school and college I competed in various sports, followed by competing in adventure racing, mountain biking, the Crossfit Games, and various obstacle courses in my adult life. It is through this varied background that I have come to develop my intense and focused style of training.
I started out as a high school physical education teacher and coach of basketball and volleyball for 9 years, was a US Army Reserves Military Police Officer for 6 years, and then became a full time personal trainer in 2000. I am a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, certified Spartan SGX Coach, certified Obstacle Course Specialist, Level 1 Crossfit Trainer, and a certified Kettlebell and TRX instructor.
My passion for what I do lies in helping people discover not only the potential in the performance of their physical bodies, but also finding the strength that lies within to face all challenges life may bring. Everyone has a little “IronWolf” within…we all just have to “experience the challenge” to breathe life into it.
To know Scout is to be a friend of Scout’s. She is never-ending, positive energy and brings all the great ideas to the IronWolf Training system. Mountain biking is one of her favorite ways of getting her cardio in, but is also good with just a nice walk through the woods. A perfect day consists of some crazy play with friends, plenty of great food, and serious intervals of nap time. Life is always good in Scout’s world!
